Return to the classroom for the award-winning Mini University

Mini University is an inspirational week of learning held on the beautiful campus of Indiana University in Bloomington. Enjoy faculty presentations on timely topics, informal discussions, a theater outing, and social gatherings. Join hundreds who attend each year to discover the joys of lifelong learning.

Nearly 100 noncredit classes are taught by some of IU’s most accomplished faculty. Courses include the arts, sciences, humanities, current events, and technology—from the latest world events to developments in the arts and healthy lifestyles.

Mini University is open to adults of all ages, and you do not have to be an IU graduate to attend. On-campus lodging is available in the Indiana Memorial Union Hotel. You may also make other arrangements; those who live nearby may participate as commuters. Parking passes are available.

IU's award-winning program was chosen by MSNBC and Frommer’s Budget Travel as one of the best learning vacations in the United States in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. And in 2006, Mini U. won the gold medal for the best collaboration program and bronze for best alumni education program from CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education).
